How Yoga Changes Your Brain FILLING

Learn the latest findings on neuroscience and yoga. There will be a Power Point slide program on brain anatomy and physiology (simplified) as related to yoga. We'll practice some basic yoga posturea and learn their effect on brain function. Learn how to protect your brain from the effects of aging, disease and trauma. Why don't elderly yogis get dementia? We'll end with Yoga Nidra, 1/2 hr. practice as this is the best way to get the brain into the healing range of Theta brain waves. Bring a mat, blanket and pillow, whatever you need to be comfortable lying on the floor.
