Join veteran yoga instructor, Johanna Maheshvari Mosca, PhD, for a clear picture of the ingredients that make up the “Wide World of Yoga.” If you’ve ever been confused about terms used in Yoga, this is your chance to understand the eight limbs of yoga, the various types of yoga, and the ten core Yoga principles for harmony and well-being.

After introductions and centering, Maheshvari will lead an interactive discussion of the eight limbs of Yoga from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a review of various types of Yoga (Hatha, Bhakti, Jnana, etc.) and the ten Yoga principles to achieve lasting contentment. Workshop will include discussion of key yoga sutras to combat suffering and Johanna’s original 4-step process for handling life’s upsets.  The workshop will close with a guided meditation to clear and enlighten your mind, emotions and body.
