The ancient path of the Taoist warrior always sought the path of least resistance through mental, emotional, physical and spiritual discipline. This class will provide a Taoist yoga asana practice to help cultivate the true warrior spirit and bring about balance and harmony of both yin andyang  life force energy (chi). The class will include a short yoga nidra session.

Founder/Director, Prison Yoga Project
The Prison Yoga Project (PYP) is dedicated to establishing yoga and mindfulness programs in prisons and rehabilitation facilities, and providing training for yoga instructors interested in teaching trauma impacted populations including the imprisoned. In 2012 PYP launched a special program at San Quentin State Prison using yoga as a therapeutic practice for addressing trauma-related issues of incarcerated military veterans.
