Yoga is both the journey and the destination, with the destination always being here and now. This Wakeful Yoga workshop will be a connection to your yoga practice like never before. While the postures may be familiar, practicing them a hundred times (or never before, depending on the student) the difference will be in your connection and awareness of each movement, even the most subtle. Moving from practicing your yoga into Being Your Yoga. This practice will be available to all levels of practitioners, plenty of pose modifications given, but know this class will not be for the faint of heart. We will be moving mindfully as well as holding poses in order to connect to the truth of our Being. We will use breath as a meditative focus to help keep us connected and present to each moment. We will then end our practice with the ancient, energetic science of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that will take your awareness even deeper into a part of you normally not accessible due to long held tension in the body and mind. This class will be a beautiful blend of wakeful movement, connection to breath, and body/mind integration resulting in increased health, peace of mind and connection to your Light. In our fast paced, to-do-list, multi tasking lives, wakeful yoga will transport you to that place of peace and joy which you truly are. I challenge you to slow down and Wake Up to the truth of your own Being.
“Perfection in asana is achieved when the effort to perform it becomes effortless, and one is established as the Infinite Being within” (Yoga Sutra 2.47)

I discovered a way of living and being that brings so much fullness to life and this is what I share with my yoga students. Through my years of training, I support my students in navigating the individual path they are on. With a nurturing and loving spirit I guide each student to open up to their own... Read More →
