More than Yoga, More than Massage...
Vedic Thai Yoga Massage

Learn the unique art of Thai Yoga Massage and ways it can enhance
your life by reducing tension, enhancing intimacy with your partner and creating better energy flow that will take you to a new level of wellness and Bliss!
During this 'assisted yoga' partner workshop, we practice on the floor in seated or lying positions where you will learn simple asanas and massage stretches to increase flexibility and melt away stresses.

Nuad Borarn (Thai Yoga Massage) is viewed as a martial art of healing and is reported to manifest instant positive results. Thai-Yoga sessions inspire the soul and tranquilize the body.
Customarily, a Thai Yoga Massage or 'assisted yoga' lasts about 2 hours, during which there is a surrending release which allows deeper and deeper physical and mental 'openings'. Flowing rhythmic compressions using the feet, knees, palms, forearms and fingers are blended with exotic stretching positions known as asanas and disciplined breath control known as pranayama, effectively producing a balanced and harmonious symbiotic communication integrating the body's vital systems.
Frequently, a person expresses feelings of purified conciousness, invigorated spirit, and profound rest.

Yoga is self-healing. Massage is usually 1-on-1 healing. Thai-Yoga massage is a “dance of healing” for giver and receiver. Both are thousands of years old, have similar beginnings and have been passed down verbally from teacher to student only until recently. Study how this ancient vedic folk-art can be used to augment your yoga teaching skills such as adjusting students easily and intuitively, giving that “little extra something” in private sessions, and enjoying friendly give-and-take with a partner.

It all began when I visited Unity Church of Dallas in the 80's with a friend, which was certainly a surprise because I promised myself after high school I would not step foot in any church again. I started my spiritual journey and began teaching yoga there when some other friends who had taken “The Artist’s Way” asked me to join them as they went... Read More →
